My lifelong passion started with a gift from my grandmother–a large woven basket, filled with her knitting supplies that had kept her company for the past few decades. I consider this my most treasured possession, as it was a way for me to pass on my grandmother’s love to the people around me. It allowed me to transform the dedication and care I had for my loved ones into something they could hug, wear, and cherish. 

It has also consistently challenged me creatively, with each piece serving as a benchmark for my artistic development. Taking a simple description or an initial chaotic idea and figuring out how to make it real by breaking it down, problem-solving, and turning my vision into something tangible is something that has kept my full attention. As I move through different projects, I find myself engrossed in the exploration of different textures, colours, and patterns in nature, striving to find new ways to weave them into my work.
